I just tried with the latest CVS version, but couldn't see anything wrong with the output of the example in comment # 4. The contents of comment # 4 more closely demonstrates the way that we are documenting enums) ![]() (Note- I made a mistake in the file I uploaded as the attachment. Removing \ingroup from the enum documentation makes it appear fine. Links are always generated to the enum in the namespace reference, but when \ingroup is specified on the enum, the documentation page for the enum is blank. I've attached two files to the bug- a simple definition of an enum that is causing us problems and our doxyfile that we are using to generate the output. After experimenting, it seems that specifying that the enum is part of a group seems to make Doxygen generate blank pages for enum documentation instead of displaying the documentation that has been entered for the enum. I then tried documenting the relevant namespace in the project we are working on and was unable to get Doxygen to produce documentation for similar enums. I followed your suggestion and found that adding documentation for the namespace did cause documentation to be generated for the test enum. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly about this. We don't specify a group for the namespace)Ī test enum to demonstrate the doxygen bug On 12:44:28 0000, Daniel Phillips wrote:Ī test namespace (our namespaces span multiple groups, so The doxyfile we are using to generate documentation A class is treated as a compound, so it will always appear when documented.Ĭan you check for me if this is indeed the problem? ![]() So I guess the confusion comes from the fact that doxygen treats an enum as a member of a compound (a namespace in your example) and requires that the compound is documented (or that you use EXTRACT_ALL=YES) before it will appear in the output. If I add a comment to the namespace I do get proper output. When I run doxygen on this, it fails to generate any documentation for the enum. ![]()
